A Pleasure Anglers Paradise

Carp, Tench, Bream, Orfe, Rudd

Open All Year Round - From Dawn to Dusk

We have four well stocked coarse fishing ponds within 500 yards of the house.

Treat yourself to a days fishing or just relax and unwind
for a couple of hours.

The fishing of these ponds is FREE to guests staying or day tickets can be purchased from the bank - you don't need to be a guest at the B&B to fish at the ponds - everyone welcome!

Totalling an acre and a half of water in gently sloping valley, the lakes are stocked with Common and Mirror Carp, Tench, Bream, Golden Orfe and Golden Rudd and vary in depth up to 6 feet.

The four spring fed lakes provide a variety of fishing, catering for the pleasure angler who wants to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings to the more dedicated fisherman who is looking for a good days catch.

The first pond you approach from the road is primarily a Tench Pond with a few skimmer Bream. The next two ponds, one of which has an island, contain mainly Carp some weighing well into double figures. These ponds also have a mixture of Tench and Bream.

The larger top pond again contains mainly Carp, but also has a selection of Golden Orfe and Golden Rudd.

Parking is on a hard track adjacent to the ponds and a toilet is on site.

If you wish to have a match we can reserve a pond for you
