Newcourt Barton Farm for a Holiday or Short Break on a Working Farm in Devon
Newcourt Barton is a working farm in the heart of Devon that also offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation. We have Dorset and Suffolk X Ewes lambing in January and February. We also rear Aberdeen Angus Cattle and grow various cereal crops including maize, wheat and barley. Guests staying in our B&B are welcome to show an interest in our farming activities.
Guests who stay in our 4 star Bed and Breakfast rooms can look forward to waking up to the birds singing and enjoy the abundance of colour and take in the delights the Devon countryside has to offer.
Acres of freedom for you and your family - enjoy a walk, relax and unwind or just take in the stunning views.
Explore Devon and take a walk around the quaint hamlet of Langford or follow a track across the fields and take in the breathtaking views of the Culm Valley and Blackdown Hills.
Our farmhouse was built in the late 1800's, the original farmhouse having been destroyed by a fire in 1860. In 1997 the main farmhouse was renovated to create three superb ensuite rooms which now accommodate our Bed and Breakfast guests.
Just a short distance away from the Farm we have four well stocked fishing lakes, ideal for guests who love coarse fishing and want to take in the peace and tranquillity of the Devon countryside.
The large enclosed garden provides for an idea play area for children or a place to just sit and relax and take in the views.
Whatever time of year you visit each season has its own unique attractions from the Spring Lambs to the Summer Harvest, from the vibrant Autumn Colours to the Winter peace and tranquillity.
